Job Description
The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst is responsible for the overall performance of HRIS technology and providing associate support services, including day-to-day help desk support for field operations, complex reporting, system configuration, testing, and ongoing analysis to identify improvements and efficiencies. This role supports the organization as it prepares for Dayforce go-live, with a focus on data validation, testing, stabilization, and ongoing operational support. This position is based in Dallas, TX at the Corporate office.
Responsibilities
Research and resolve associate service requests received through the ticketing system related to HRIS technology, providing direct support to hotel operations.
- Support Dayforce go-live readiness, including data validation, system testing, and issue resolution.
- Validate employee, payroll, and time data to ensure accuracy prior to and following Dayforce go-live.
- Build and maintain complex reports primarily in Dayforce, with limited support for legacy UKG reporting as needed.
- Configure HRIS technology (Dayforce, with limited UKG support) to comply with relevant federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
- Participate in system testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities to ensure a smooth transition to Dayforce.
- Keep informed on current trends, developments, and best practices related to HRIS configuration and processes.
- Create and maintain job aids, guides, and documentation related to HRIS and Dayforce processes.
- Analyze and evaluate work methods; design and implement best practices for HRIS and Payroll systems to effectively utilize technology.
- Handle system upgrades, releases, and enhancements, with a focus on Dayforce releases and post-go-live stabilization.
- Monitor system performance to identify organizational needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Work closely with Payroll, Benefits, Talent, IT, Finance, and Accounting to ensure cross-functional alignment.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all HRIS systems.
- Develop and maintain interfaces, file feeds, imports, and exports related to HRIS systems.
- Act as a liaison between Payroll, HR, IT, Finance, and Corporate Accounting regarding HRIS system issues.
- Provide training and ongoing support to hotel and corporate associates on system usage and best practices.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of Dayforce modules, particularly in Payroll, Core, and Time & Attendance.
- Experience supporting Dayforce go-live activities, data validation, testing, or post-go-live stabilization.
- Prior experience with UKG (UltiPro / Kronos) in a legacy/transition or current environment.
- Expertise in designing, building, and maintaining complex HRIS and payroll reports.
- Advanced knowledge of payroll systems, including time and attendance, earnings, deductions, and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local payroll laws, regulations, and compliance standards.
- Experience supporting HRIS and payroll system upgrades and releases.
- Ability to analyze payroll and HR data and apply regulatory and system logic appropriately.
- Strong configuration and integration knowledge within HRIS and payroll systems.
- Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Ability to think critically, problem-solve, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while working with sensitive data.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
