GENERAL FUNCTION

Lead all designated locations to success by hiring and developing a team, who consistently exceeds expectations in all areas of business operation.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Monitor sales and operational activities of assigned locations daily to ensure objectives are met, addressing underperforming locations immediately; process involves travel to individual locations throughout area of responsibility.
  • Recruit, hire, train and develop high quality managers by providing clear expectations of position, motivating and giving constructive performance feedback in a timely manner and establishing a culture of ownership and accountability.
  • Teach and coach Practice Managers, both in-person and remotely, to consistently achieve goals and foster execution of best practices for growth within the host environment.
  • Create an environment that encourages the development of managers and associates; provide challenging assignments and opportunities for development; continuously building a bench of talent.
  • Analyze key financial data and monitor operating efficiencies, creating and communicating clear action plans that optimize results.
  • Lead and drive quality and improvement in the assigned locations to deliver on all key performance indicators, while delivering to the customer journey experience.
  • Manage profits and expenses and ensure proper usage of company funds.
  • Direct and approve workforce management activities according to the brand policies, labor and operational initiatives.
  • Ensure Practice Managers have up-to-date information and consistently execute to brand procedures, policies, expectations, standards and behaviors.
  • Provide operational guidance and manage operational execution and ensure brand standards are met in accordance with Company direction.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years' experience in a leadership position within private practice or retail optical
  • Proven track record of delivering positive results and positive growth
  • Comprehensive knowledge of optical dispensary operations, processes and policies including sales and profit, patient and customer service, training, inventory management, visual merchandising and POS systems
  • Good business and financial acumen including operational analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to network, source, recruit and develop teams
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving ability
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office
  • Strong basic math skills
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Ability to travel up to 80%; must be willing and able to work weekends, and be physically in worksites during times of high business need


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • 2+ years multi-unit or successful single-unit optical dispensary leadership experience in high volume environment
  • College degree or equivalent
  • Licensed Optician in licensed state
  • ABO in non-licensed state

Pay Range:58,865.45-96,354.24
