Class A and B Flatbed Driver

Staffmark is seeking a dedicated Class A and B Flatbed Driver to join our team in Opelousas, LA. This position offers excellent opportunities with great pay and immediate benefits!

Pay & Schedule:

Pay Details

• $21/hour plus tarping, drop, and hand unload stipends
• Should average $120 per week + additional in stipends
• OT pay after 40 (Driver works about 50 hours per week)
• Paid weekly (every Friday!)

Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• Saturday if needed
• All work is local/regional/back same day.

Requirements:

• A valid driver's license (Class A & B license)
• Previous experience
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening(s)
• Non-Excepted Interstate
• No more than a combination of 3 moving violations or accidents within 3 years
• Must have experience with straps and binders (load securement)
• Must be able to perform physical labor tasks

Key Responsibilities:

• The clients will unload the product, but occasionally they will offload by handing material down to client crews.
• Hauling lumber.
• Those locations are Small Cabinet Manufacturers.
• Drivers need to be physically fit to handle that type of work.
