Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing vacation relief for Schedulers, analyzing customers' shipping requirements and development of a product movement schedule for multiple pipeline systems. Position also cooperates with field and control center personnel to maximize the safety and efficiency of the pipeline systems. On a weekly and monthly basis this position is responsible for a movement projection plan. This position is also responsible for Scheduling Project oversight.

Major Accountabilities:

* Maintain models in the Pipeline Scheduling System.

* Provide scheduler vacation relief.

* Provide scheduling manager vacation relief.

* Oversee scheduling projects as needed.

* Assist with data analysis.

* Analyze customer requests and develop plans to meet their needs. Help other Schedulers resolve complex issues.

* Develops and maintains monthly volume forecasts based on nominations and pipeline capacities. Assist other schedulers with any uncommon/atypical issues.

* Reviews and monitors terminal inventories and liftings to create runouts used to develop pipeline schedules, while identifying any issues and notifying supervisor and shipper, if applicable.

* Develops a product movement schedule and daily pipeline movement orders for multiple pipelines.

* Communicates with the Control Center and regional personnel, as needed, to execute schedules.

* Communicates with Regional Operations to aid in coordination of maintenance activity on the pipelines.

* With training, you must be proficient on multiple scheduling areas.

* Ability to read and interpret pipeline schedules and documents such as safety rules, regulatory requirements, tariffs, and operating and procedure manuals.

* Perform additional analysis and/or other tasks as required by the Manager of Scheduling.

* This is a 24-hour on-call position.

Experience Requirements:

* Eight years or more of experience in the petroleum industry with scheduling and/or control center and/or field operational experience preferred.

* Additional consideration may be given to candidates who are cross trained in two scheduling areas.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills required.

* Excellent PC skills to include Microsoft office applications.

* Strong attention to detail, with the ability to proof work for accuracy.

* Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with other personnel, corporate departments, as well as, with external customers required.

* Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

* Ability to take directions from the Manager and work in a team environment.

Education Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree preferred.

* High School Diploma or GED required.
