Heavy Haul Transport Driver

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following;

• Deliver equipment and materials to commercial construction projects in a safe and efficient manner
• Operate a truck pulling a flatbed trailer equipped to transport mining components and heavy equipment
• Must have operational knowledge of heavy equipment to be hauled and ability to load and unload equipment from a lowboy trailer
• Measure load height, length and width
• Must be able to use chains and binders to secure equipment and components
• Must have working knowledge of DOT heavy haul permitting
• Maintain equipment, accurate driver paperwork and legal load limits
• Be willing to drive other commercial motor vehicles such as a water truck, side dump and end dump

Minimum Qualifications;

• 3 years of heavy haul transport driving experience
• Valid Class A CDL, tanker and doubles / triples endorsements, medical card
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, push, pull and be on your feet for long periods of time
• Ability to work flexible shifts which include days, nights, some weekends
• Assure all safety procedures are followed
• Must pass a pre employment drug screening and background check
