$73,694.40 - $144,684.80 American Oncology Network is currently seeking an Executive Director to support and oversee operations at our Fort Wayne location. This position will be onsite and based at our Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology clinic in Fort Wayne, Indiana. *Relocation Assistance Available* Job Description Summary

Liaison between administrative centralized services and clinic; implements and ensures compliance with federal and state regulatory programs and Company policies. Support the financial goals of the clinic by being fiscally responsible in all areas. Manages physician concerns, patient complaints as needed. Responsible for projects and work with local and AON management to implement plans to support clinics in achieving best practice performance for quality patient care. Through local initiatives supports the financial goals of clinic by being fiscally responsible in all areas, initiatives that effectively and efficiently support and meet clinic, organizational, and regulatory goals and objectives through strong analytical capabilities, process improvement identification and implementation, and technology enhancements. Maintains strong understanding of operational metrics and mentors team.

Key Performance Areas
  • Support Executive and Senior Leadership as well as provide ongoing support to local Office leadership.

  • Evaluate staffing levels and recommend adjustments to Physicians, Office Management, Senior Regional Director, Operations based on patient volume.

  • Evaluate equipment needs for clinics and makes recommendations to Local Management and Senior Regional Director, Operations.

  • Provide strategic input and direction on practice growth. Facilitate communications between centralized services and the clinics. Responsible for fiscal operations of clinic by developing and maintaining all operational unit budgets with prudence.

  • Ensure physician coverage at all times while patients.

  • Comply will all Federal and State laws and regulations pertaining to patient care, patients' rights, safety, billing, and collections. Adhere to all Company and departmental policies and procedures, including IT policies and procedures and Disaster Recovery Plan Maintain and ensure the confidentiality of all patient and employee information at all times.

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Position Qualifications/Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree is related field required. Master's degree preferred.

Certifications/Licenses

  • Valid state Driver's License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings. Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.

Previous Experience

  • 5 years healthcare, physician practice experience. Oncology, start up and merger and acquisition experience preferred.

  • Experience including business development, finance, prospecting and recruitment.

  • Demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of physician contracts and applicable regulatory requirements at a local, state, and federal level related to practice management required.

  • Experience using EMR preferred.

  • Self-Management: Effectively manages own time, conflicting priorities, self, stress, and professional development. Self-motivated and self-starter with ability work independently with limited supervision. Ability to work remotely effectively as required.

  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities and demands from a variety of stakeholders and sites.

  • Computer Skills:

    • Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required. Advance Excel skills required.
