SALARY RANGE $28.87 - $51.18WORK ASSIGNMENT DETAILS Waukesha County's Department of Administration is recruiting for a Senior Buyer (may underfill as Buyer). This position plays a key role in supporting the mission of our division by managing key vendor relationships and ensuring contract compliance. CLASSIFICATION SPECIFICATION The department may choose to fill this position as a Senior Buyer. Senior Buyer Minimum Training & Experience Requirements 2. Two years of work experience in a large volume purchasing operation, preferably in the public sector. -OR- Six years of progressively responsible work experience in a large volume purchasing operation, preferably in the public sector. 3. Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) certification is desirable. Buyer Minimum Training & Experience Requirements: 1. Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in business or public administration, or a closely related field. -OR- Four years of progressively responsible work experience in a large volume purchasing operation, preferably in the public sector.
