Salary Details A minimum of $115,000 for academic year appointments.

Rutgers University, School of Management and Labor Relations, has one of the world's leading faculties in the field of Labor Studies and Employment Relations ( LSER). The LSER Department is soliciting applications for a tenure track position at the assistant professor rank. Current assistant professors, as well as new PhDs, are encouraged to apply. Area of specialty is labor, work, and organizational studies. We are particularly interested in scholars whose research examines workplace equity, inclusive leadership, and the intersections of organizational structure and worker well-being. The candidate should be an excellent researcher and will be expected to teach both graduate and undergraduate courses in the field of Labor Studies and Employment Relations and contribute to the continuing education program of the department. The appointment, which is dependent on funding, is expected to begin September 2026. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Employment Relations, Industrial Relations, Sociology, Economics, History, Political Science, Anthropology, American Studies, African American Studies, Latino Studies, Gender Studies, Business, or Social Work.
