Job Purpose

Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, the Account Manager will be a key member of the team managing a Global Strategic Account, serving as a commercial contact and escalation point both internally and externally. The Account Manager will support driving revenue growth, profitability by cultivating strong customer relationships, understanding their strategies, and developing account plans. They will work on new business opportunities (RFQs), coordinate corporate and plant resources, and direct cross-functional account teams to align Sanmina's technology and services with customer roadmaps, while driving customer satisfaction and account growth and profitability in support of the Global Strategic Account.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities




  • Understand customer's business and product requirements and identify/action alignment of Sanmina's technology and service roadmaps.



  • Coordinate customer visits and presentations, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).



  • Actively seek out opportunities to meet with the Customer to foster strong, trust-based relationships.



  • Analyze complex situations and data to make in-depth evaluations and determine methodologies for new assignments.



  • Develop effective presentations and meet/present to all levels of customer management.



  • Skilled at developing and maintaining strong internal and external relationships, and generating common understanding around complex issues.



  • Highly skilled in influencing without authority and leading/inspiring cross-functional teams.



  • Services existing business and identifies strategic growth opportunities for Sanmina, focusing on increasing revenues, customer satisfaction, and profit margins.



  • Compiles customer and account information for reporting



  • Assists with supply chain issues, product transfers, new product introductions, commercial claims, and ensures account receivables are current.



  • Acts as a point of contact for all Sanmina services.



  • Develops, presents, manages, and executes business plans, new business development strategies, including vertical integration and RFQ proposals.




Education and Experience




  • A College or University degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent is required or equivalent experience.



  • Minimum of 5-8 years of related experience in a similar role (account/program/business unit management) in the electronics manufacturing or related business.



  • Must be very proficient with software tools (MS Office, Google, CRM, etc.)

Salary Range(annual): $120,000-$150,000. Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
