POSITION TITLE: Bioinformatics Analyst I POSITION SUMMARY: Work under direct to general supervision, employ a variety of standard computational sequence analysis (mathematical and computing) tools to model and analyze molecular biological data. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Duties include but are not limited to working on the machine-learning-based analysis of mouse behavior, based on images and movies taken by our newly developed in-cage imaging system. Will use SLEAP in collaboration with (Salk Institute) to quantify pose estimations to generate behavior-based aging clocks that enable the prediction of drug effects on mice. Initially, will analyze extensive data sets that we have already generated and then develop new testing paradigms. REQUIREMENTS:
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This is a remote position. COMPENSATION: The expected hiring range for this position is $70,304 to $79,200 per year, commensurate with experience. Consideration will be given to experience that exceeds the listed requirements. COMPREHENSIVE BENEFITS INCLUDE:
