Job Summary The Montefiore RN maintains standards of the practice for nursing as defined by the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice and Nursing's Social Policy Statement. Qualifications BS BSN in Nursing Preferred Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems (Medium proficiency) Effective English communication skills, both written and oral (Medium proficiency) OHS Fit Test Required Registered Nurse New York New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an RN Upon Hire Required OHS Annual Assessment Required Certification in specialty Upon Hire Required Basic Life Support Training Upon Hire Required Infection Control Training Upon Hire Required Montefiore Medical Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
