Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

  • Receiving & Inspecting

    • Unload trucks, containers, and pallets; verify quantities and inspect for damage against purchase orders
    • Log and document incoming shipments in inventory systems.
  • Material Movement & Storage

    • Use forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and cranes to move goods within the facility.
    • Place items in designated storage locations and ensure proper stacking, bracing, and labeling.
  • Order Picking & Shipping Prep

    • Pick, pack, wrap, label, and stage items according to orders and shipping schedules.
    • Prepare documentation such as bills of lading, work orders, and shipping labels.
  • Inventory Management

    • Conduct cycle counts and full inventory audits; track stock levels and report discrepancies.
    • Coordinate with supervisors to maintain optimal inventory flow and prevent shortages.
    • Equipment & Workplace Maintenance

      • Perform routine inspections and basic repairs on material-handling equipment.
      • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; dispose of waste properly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED (often required).
  • Forklift certification or eligible for in-house training.
  • Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing preferred.
  • Optional certifications in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., from APICS, SOLE) can enhance candidacy.

This is a 2nd shift position, hours 4:00pm - 12:30am.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a minimum of1 year of related experience
