Responsibilities:

The Preregistration Representative uses reports and data from various Scheduling Systems to create accounts in the Hospital Information System. Will act as the gatekeeper to validate and verify the demographic and insurance information updated into the Hospital Information System from various information points, including but not limited to the physician s office, Hospital Information System and the patient. Will provide support to other areas in Patient Access and as needed.

Work Schedule: Weekday Schedule Monday-Friday

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • College level course completion preferred or equivalent experience
  • Healthcare work experience preferred
  • Three to five years customer service experience preferred
  • Basic Excel experience preferred for monthly reporting requirements
  • Typing required and ten key preferred
  • Bilingual preferred
