Project Engineer

  • Responsible for guiding 1-2 agile teams through agile development of operational baseline updates
  • Facilitate all Scrum Meetings (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives)
  • Promote Agile principles and best practices within the team and across the organization
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed and prioritized backlog
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
  • Track team performance metrics and support continuous improvement efforts
  • Identify and remove impediments to team progress.
  • Ensure transparency of progress through radiators like burndown charts, dashboards
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, reporting requirements, and security protocols

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00/ hr

Hours: 4/10-1st Shift

Length: Temporary (11 months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT, full-stack, Software, or systems engineering, and working with engineering teams
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Meeting Facilitation
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Agile Software Development
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in JIRA
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Engineering Design Principles
  • Scrum master certification
