As a Security Officer - Hospital Unarmed Patrols in Bellflower, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events and escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential hazards.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Collaborate with staff and emergency personnel to support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or conditions, following site-specific protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
• Ability to restrain individuals as required in a hospital environment.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
