As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Commercial Tower in Santa Monica, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to tenants and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service, all while upholding our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report any irregularities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to maintain a secure environment for tenants, guests, and property assets.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal guidelines.
• Collaborate with property management and/or local authorities as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Support access control procedures, including visitor management and contractor check-ins, in accordance with site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
