Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol Driver in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols and deliver outstanding customer service, communicating clearly with visitors and team members. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol responsibilities, all while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns or incidents according to company and client procedures.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors, offering assistance as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and/or client protocols.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
