Job Title: UX/UI Designer Role Overview:The UX/UI Designer will support a multi-year internal business transformation initiative, designing intuitive, modern user experiences for internal-facing web and mobile applications.The ideal candidate brings strong design system experience, advanced Figma skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, Agile environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain scalable design systems to ensure consistency across applications

  • Develop wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile platforms

  • Design intuitive user journeys and workflows for complex, internal-facing systems

  • Partner with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to implement and refine design solutions

  • Ensure designs align with established visual standards while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic

  • Conduct user testing and incorporate feedback to iterate and improve designs

  • Present design concepts, rationale, and user insights clearly to cross-functional teams

  • Stay current on UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices and apply them proactively

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 5-6 years of UX/UI design experience with a strong portfolio of web and mobile applications

  • Proven experience creating and maintaining design systems

  • 3+ years of expert-level proficiency in Figma, including auto layout, nested components, and shared libraries

  • Strong experience building wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes

  • Experience working in Agile environments and fast-paced delivery teams

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
  • Familiarity with usability testing tools and methodologies

  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS

  • Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams

  • Creative problem-solving and systems thinking

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
