Get to Know Your Team:

  • Oklahoma Heart Institute offers 24/7 catheterization labs, cardiac rehabilitation and a heart failure center. In addition, OHI is involved in over 200 cutting-edge research studies across the vast amount of specialties within the system.
  • Performs high quality, accurate, non-invasive diagnostic vascular ultrasounds and ankle brachial index exams.
  • Must be able to document assessment of patient history, properly document anatomy and pathology findings and is capable of producing documentation of all procedural findings.
  • The successful candidate will have full knowledge of the equipment located in the Vascular Lab, such as, but not limited to the transducers, post processing for images and software applications in reference to scanning patients.

Job Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor of Science.

  • 0-2 years' experience.

  • Current overview and knowledge of all operations with Ultrasound including diagnostic medical ultrasound systems and portables.

  • Must be registered by ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) within one year of employment.

  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

  • General knowledge and prior experience in one or more software, hardware, or information systems.
