This role is a recognized trusted advisor and market thought leader focusing on a key fire service marketing strategy, research, messaging, coaching, and operations. Is supervised by the Public Buildings Business Director, providing communications expertise to assist in achieving market-specific goals. Thrives in a culture of collaboration, knowledge and power sharing, and leadership by lifting others. Driven to win, possesses trustworthy instincts, persistent in quality control and attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, and ability to translate "50,000-foot view" strategy to tangible tactics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design of industrial, commercial, and educational projects of varying sizes, with a primary focus on industrial facilities.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers, technicians, and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality structural solutions for local and national clients.
• Oversee the structural design phase from schematic design through construction documentation for both single- and multi-discipline projects.
• Make design recommendations and decisions; ensure the completion, accuracy, and quality of construction drawings, specifications, reports, and other project deliverables.
• Establish and manage structural scope, schedules, and budgets to meet client and project requirements.
• Serve as a key point of contact and company representative with clients and contractors throughout the design and construction process.
• Manage and review shop drawings and coordinate field data collection activities.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and designers, fostering technical growth and teamwork.
• Handle multiple concurrent projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and project quality.
