Internship Program Overview

Our 10-week summer internship program givesstudentshands-on experience and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while learning about our organization.Internswill connect with leaders,participatein development sessions like self-assessments and business overviews, and take part in networking and community initiatives. The program concludes with a final presentation to leaders and peers, whereinternsshowcasetheirwork, share ideas, and receive valuable feedback.

We areseekinga highly skilled and experiencedmarketing MBA candidatetojoin our dynamic team andenhance the effectiveness of non-personal marketing campaigns byidentifyinganddesigning a campaign toleveragewhitespace opportunity.This is an opportunity to take ownership of a business-critical project, learn about the pharmaceutical industry,andwork within aninclusive cross-functional team.



While working at Chiesi, the intern will be an integral part of the Marketingteam andwill gain exposure to a wide range of marketing disciplines, including positioning and messaging,campaign development,business analytics,market research, digital strategy design,andbusiness performancemanagement.


Project examples include but are not limited to: Evolution and Refinement of Whitespace Non-Personal Campaign-Translate brand strategy into an actionable campaign by:



  • Identifyingnew clinical insights relevant to the brand.
  • Designing a campaign framework that integrates personal (sales rep-driven) and non-personal (digital, email, social) promotion.

You'll be responsible for:

  • ConductClinical Landscape Review: summarize key studies, guidelines, and competitor positioning
  • Review existingMarket Research: analyze CRM data,market studies,repandphysician feedback.
  • Review Existing Customer Personas and Journey Maps:

    • Analyze current customer personas and journey maps
    • Identifypotentialadditionalcampaign goals based on insights.


  • Analyze Current Non-Personal Campaign Performance Metrics:

    • Evaluate the performance of existing non-personal marketing campaigns.
    • Identifyareas for improvement and optimization.


  • Develop Strategies to Optimize Content and Delivery Methods:

    • Create strategies to enhance the content and delivery of non-personal campaigns.
    • Ensure alignment with identified whitespace opportunities.


  • Implement A/B Testing:

    • Design and execute A/B tests to measure the impact of proposed changes.
    • Analyze test results todeterminethe effectiveness of optimizations.


  • Present Findings and Recommendations:

    • Compile and present findings and recommendations to the marketing team.
    • Provideactionable insights to improve future campaigns.



You will need to have

  • Currentlypursuing an MBA with an expected graduation date of Fall 2026 or later.
  • Strong interest inahealthcarecareer.
  • Previousordemonstratedinterestinmarketing; experience in brand strategy or campaign development a plus.
  • Strong analyticaland critical thinkingskills,and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

We would prefer for you to have

  • Completed undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Location

This is a hybrid rolebased inCary, NC. Interns are expected to work on-site up to 3 days per week.
