About the Role
A growing marketing team is seeking an experienced Freelance Paid Social Specialist with strong LinkedIn Ads expertise to set up and manage packaged LinkedIn advertising campaigns. This project focuses on developing and refining internal paid-social processes, with potential to expand into client-facing work in the future. You'll collaborate closely with marketing leads to strategically design, launch, and optimize campaigns-handling backend setup, audience targeting, bidding strategy, and budget pacing. Creative assets and copy will be provided; your role is to ensure campaigns are effectively structured and drive measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Set up and manage LinkedIn advertising campaigns, including targeting, budget allocation, bidding, and performance tracking.
- Advise on campaign structure, pacing, and optimization to improve reach and ROI.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to align ad execution with strategy and timelines.
- Analyze campaign performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Help refine internal advertising processes and packaging for scalable future use.
- Maintain clear, responsive communication during Central Time business hours.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing LinkedIn paid social campaigns, including audience targeting and optimization.
- 3+ years of experience in paid media, digital marketing, or social advertising (agency or freelance experience preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of LinkedIn Campaign Manager and campaign analytics.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working in remote, collaborative environments.
- Availability to work primarily in Central Time preferred.
