The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The Program in Occupational Therapy is seeking a Student Research Worker to work with the PI and research assistants to organize laboratory materials related to behavioral research.

Responsibilities



  • Communicate with community and research partners
  • Organize meetings, minutes, reports, and executive summaries
  • Organize participant recruitment
  • Research coding (qualitative and quantitative methods): Experience with mixed methods research designs will be preferred
  • Conduct literature searches
  • Enter data in databases, data management
  • Manuscript formatting for various editorial systems
  • Perform other duties as required/requested.


Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social sciences, and/or data science
  • Current Student enrolled at Columbia University


Preferred Qualifications



  • Current student at the Mailman School of Public Health (preferred)
  • B.A. or B.S. degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, or other appropriate science discipline.
  • Previous experience working in a research laboratory setting is desirable
