Department OverviewThe Long Island Sensor Technology (LIST) group at Motorola Solutions, located in Melville, NY designs and manufactures IoT based products for the safety and security industry. The LIST Device Engineering team has developed the HALO, HALO Amplify and SentryERS products and continues to develop many more to add to the product portfolio. Within the Device Engineering team, the electrical engineering team applies hardware, firmware and software techniques to expand our product performance and provide added value to our customers. Job DescriptionThe LIST Device Engineering team Electrical Engineer intern will acquire hands-on experience through the testing and evaluation of hardware and software for HALO, SentryERS and other products. Participants will have the opportunity to work under the guidance and supervision of the engineering team on their assignments, but are expected to work individually. Interns will be responsible for recording test procedures, conducting tests, recording results and presenting their analysis to the engineering team. Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations
