As a Talent Sourcing Specialist, you will help manage the first stage of our recruiting process. You will become an expert in creative search techniques, candidate engagement, and candidate experience. You will play an influential role in shaping our sourcing strategy by guiding ideal candidates to Monument Health roles, reporting trends and insights, and advising hiring managers on the talent market.

This position will work remotely out of the Sioux Falls, SD area. You will source, identify and engage with candidates at all levels to fill vacancies in the Monument Health System. You will be required to work on Monument Health Campus 2 weeks per year. Additionally, you will be responsible for assisting with planning, coordinating and facilitating events and fairs, travel including possible overnight stays is expected.

Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Utilize relevant technologies through various platforms in digital, social media and job boards to source and recruit passive and active candidates to manage a strong candidate pipeline to fill vacancies and projected needs.
  • Utilize effective communication techniques to garner interest from passive candidates, including but not limited to text, email, and cold calling.
  • Review resumes and conducts screening interviews to assess the prospective or active applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes for roles and route appropriately.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and recruiters to identify and collaborate on ideal candidate profiles for hard to fill positions and develop, plan, implement, and coordinate specific recruitment plans.
  • Develop talent pipelines proactively for future workforce needs.
  • Measure conversion rates including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers and get hired.
  • Engage current employees and external networks to generate referrals.
  • Promote Monument Health's employer brand online and offline.
  • Maintain candidate databases via our Candidate and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities.
  • Assists all applicants and responds promptly to applicants' requests for information.
  • Advises candidates in career development, offers advice, and provides insight into an appropriate position match. Identifies resources to help candidates achieve desired positions.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events, recruitment fairs, career fairs, and healthcare events. Travel is expected up to 25% of the time including overnight stays.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements

Required:

Education - High School Diploma/ GED Equivalent

Preferred:

Experience - 2+ years of Recruiting Experience; 2+ years of Sourcing Experience; 2+ years Healthcare Experience

Education - Bachelors degree

Physical Requirements: Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
