The Reservoir Technologist 2, working under general supervision, is responsible for providing technical support to the reservoir engineering team on reserves analysis and reserves bookings, well and reservoir performance analysis and forecasting, and project economic evaluations. The role analyzes internal and external data to support various performance analysis and evaluations and coordinates maintenance of technical databases and well record files. The role supports in development and updation of annual budget and periodic business performance projections, monitors and reports on key reservoir performance indicators and production trends, develops summary reports, and prepares presentations. The role contributes in analysis and reporting on business unit and underlying asset's performance and builds economic evaluations for reservoirs. The role demonstrates increasing independence in prioritizing, organizing, and completing reservoir engineering assignments, seeking guidance as needed for moderately complex problems and mentors less experienced employees in the reservoir engineering team. * Provides technical support to the reservoir engineering team on reserves analysis and reserves bookings, well and reservoir performance analysis and forecasting, and project economic evaluations.
