Environmental Compliance Inspector Job Locations

Overview EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION: Are you experienced with Virginia ESC and SWM inspections and ready to independently recognize and report environmental noncompliance on active construction sites? MBP is looking for an Environmental Compliance Inspector to support projects across Western Virginia near Roanoke. Candidates should bring at least 2 years working with state and federal environmental regulations and related programs. Responsibilities What You'll Do: Inspect construction activities during all project phases across Western Virginia near Roanoke, Martinsville and Danville and recognize and report noncompliance related to erosion & sediment control (ESC) and storm water management (SWM). Provide guidance during inspections while fostering a partnering relationship with contractors and stakeholders. Work independently in the field and interpret applicable regulatory requirements when communicating observations. Responsibilities include:
Perform daily record keeping of project activities related to environmental compliance.
