Position Title: Waste Handler
Wage: $20.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Friday) Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Waste Handler at a company in Des Moines, IA. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply now! Waste Handler Responsibilities: - Remove waste from pallets, trash barrels, wire baskets, offices, production and storage areas, lab and maintenance areas - Organize and inventory all waste and recycled materials stored in facility - Monitor and assist the production department to ensure all waste materials are stored in the proper containers and that the containers are properly labeled - Prepare all loads for shipment in accordance with DOT regulations - Use appropriate machinery to wash, rinse, crush, shred, or chip drums, containers, etc. to decontaminate bulk Requirements for Waste Handler: - Previous forklift experience - Able to stand for duration of shift - Able to lift up to 100 lbs. semi-repetitively - Able to work in hot or cold temperatures desmoinesresume@qpsemployment.com IND092 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
