Title: Human Resources Business Partner
Location: St. Gabriel, LA

Salary: $76,440 - $110,850
Schedule: 9/80 or 5-8s
Relocation Available

Focus: The Human Resources Business Partner will provide client support on all human resources related matters, including but not limited to, employee relations, HR Compliance and Affirmative Action, onboarding, learning and development, performance, and talent management.

Human Resources Business Partner Position Responsibilities:

  • Active member of the business/function leadership team to plan and implement strategies and programs to meet human resource requirements, collaborating with senior leadership to support short and long-term business objectives.
  • Guide and support managers in conducting effective performance appraisals, setting SMART goals, and developing employees. Ensure that performance management processes are consistent and that feedback mechanisms are in place to foster continuous improvement and career development.
  • Address employee relations issues, which may include leading investigations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement retention strategies by analyzing turnover data, employee engagement surveys, and by recommending actions to reduce attrition.
Human Resources Business Partner Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree* in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Organizational Development/Management, Employment Law or Business-related discipline.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in human resources; prior experience in an HRBP role is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment and labor laws and regulations including FLSA, AAP/EEO, ADA/ADEA, FMLA, etc.
  • Technical abilities and experience with HR ERP systems is preferred; Workday and Kronos/Dimensions experience strongly preferred.
  • The ability and willingness to relocate within Olin to other locations in the future is strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel to the Plaquemine, LA site occasionally
  • Must possess a valid US Driver's License and be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
