What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or incidents, adapting to the unique needs of a healthcare setting.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons on the premises, according to Allied Universal guidelines.
• Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general inquiries, maintaining a professional and courteous presence.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and local emergency services during medical or security-related emergencies, providing support as directed.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
