DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will play a crucial role in delivering driver licensing services to the public. Your responsibilities will include welcoming customers, verifying their identification, assisting with application forms, and inputting data into online licensing systems. You will also provide necessary forms and informational brochures tailored to customer needs. Additionally, you will conduct standardized knowledge tests to evaluate applicants' comprehension of motor vehicle laws and perform vision screenings using specialized equipment. Accurate entry of test results and application data into online systems via a PC terminal is vital. You will independently handle public inquiries and must possess a thorough understanding of the services available, including the requirements for obtaining both REAL ID and non-REAL ID products. You will provide information on various services such as license renewals, duplicates, out-of-state transfers, motorcycle licenses, and commercial driver's licenses, along with their associated restrictions and endorsements. Furthermore, it is essential to apply and document the correct fee waiver codes when applicable, in accordance with Fee Waiver Guidelines. Compliance with the Driver and Vehicle Services Customer Service Policy and REAL ID regulations is mandatory, including the issuance and scanning of the Non-Native Born US Citizen/Non-US Citizen Courtesy Form (DL-160) as required. - Full-time employment, 80 hours bi-weekly
- Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Overtime and travel as needed
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.
