**What You'll Do:**

* Lead and manage a portfolio of projects and a team of communications professionals, fostering cross-functional collaboration.

* Develop and execute sophisticated media campaign plans, ensuring integrated communications strategies for clients.

* Collaborate with senior leadership to effectively manage crises and strategically escalate issues when necessary.

* Act as a primary client interface, demonstrating self-direction in interactions and decision-making.

* Navigate client messaging nuances, media risks, and sensitivities with expert precision.

* Proactively mitigate and resolve media and client-related complications.

* Contribute to business development by reviewing proposals and drafting statements of work (SOWs) tailored to client needs.

* Ensure team alignment and execution on SOW deliverables.

* Support the onboarding process for new clients in collaboration with upper management.

* Assist in the creation of impactful client messaging documents.

* Engage in initial discovery calls with key stakeholders.

* Maintain familiarity with essential institutional knowledge and stakeholder relationships.

* Proactively identify potential media risks.

* Champion the professional development and growth of your team members.

* Oversee the successful execution of communications strategies to achieve client objectives.

* Provide guidance and support to team members, leveraging your deep understanding of client needs.

**What You'll Bring:**

* An undergraduate degree or equivalent relevant experience in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.

* 7+ years of extensive experience in communications and/or marketing.

* Proven ability to effectively manage teams and cultivate strong client relationships.

* Exceptional foresight in anticipating media, client, and team requirements.

* Demonstrated capability to skillfully manage and prioritize multiple time-sensitive projects.

* Experience thriving in an integrated communications environment, fostering collaboration across teams to deliver cohesive client work.
