Dec 17, 2025

Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sr. Digital Product Manager!

About the role

In this role, you will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your products with full ownership and independence. You will use your deep business and technical expertise to guide case development, set technical direction, and manage products throughout their lifecycle. You will clearly articulate each product's value proposition to partners and make informed recommendations about when a product should evolve, be replaced, or be retired.

You may handle multiple products or a single, highly sophisticated product, and build alignment across business, technical, and cross-functional partners. You will ensure your products deliver meaningful business outcomes and long-term value, by using strong product management frameworks and a variety of research techniques.

What You will Do

  • Develop and communicate product strategy aligned to enterprise goals. Collaborate with customers, business partners, and technology teams and secure resources to maintain a healthy product lifecycle.
  • Apply Agile practices to deliver high-quality solutions. Partner with the product owner to ensure a clear and measurable backlog, support delivery teams on protocols, manage risks and dependencies, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary expert for your product domain. Tailor communication across audiences and formats, clearly convey product vision and strategy, and act as the main contact for vendors.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative data to measure impact, advise product decisions, assess opportunities, and conduct analyses such as return on investment, cost-benefit, and root-cause evaluations.
  • Mentor other product managers, champion user-centered product development, inspire cross-functional teams, stay current on industry trends, and model strong leadership behaviors.
  • Engage in ongoing learning, stay up to date with product management guidelines and participate in communities of practice.
