Barnes Aerospace seeks a talented, self-driven and high-energy individual to serve as Finance Director, Americas. This position supports the Aerospace organization and partners with Business Leadership to position the business for long-term growth and profitability. This role will provide support for the finance teams and leadership of the Barnes Aerospace locations in the Americas. It will provide financial analysis and support for strategic decisions and manage local finance teams to drive functional efficiencies and value-added support. Additionally, this role will provide financial support for new business opportunities to deliver Barnes Aerospace's growth strategy. Core Responsibilities:



  • Provides functional leadership and managerial direction to Barnes Aerospace Americas finance resources.
  • Driving business strategy through strategic financial modeling to help support decision making.
  • Support business performance reviews, and help drive annual strategic business planning processes.
  • Support businesses in the deployment of planning/ forecasting/ reporting processes.
  • Responsible for driving strategic financial analysis and actions/projects for the business.
  • Review and analyze monthly results and partner with leadership team to drive performance change and management.
  • Partner with leadership to drive strategic goals.
  • Evaluate & drive capital investments (CAAR process), restructuring, or other enterprise initiatives.
  • Manage and help drive working capital improvements (DWC) across the business.
  • As a leader in the organization, drive the operating system, partnering with P&L leaders, to enhance productivity.
  • Support the monthly review of forecasts to assess potential risks and opportunities in order to drive forecast accuracy and results of the business.
  • Support business case analyses/proposals for strategic opportunities.
  • Drive functional enhancements to finance processes utilizing lean principles and technology.
  • Responsible for ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting and robust standard processes exist to support consistency in reporting results.
  • Plan, lead, and drive other finance and accounting projects and processes as they relate to business needs.



Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving results, including process improvements and providing value added business support.
  • Solid understanding of financial systems (e.g., ERP systems) and familiarity with automation tools and technologies (e.g., RPA, AI).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership and external partners.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to drive decision-making based on data and performance metrics.



Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or similar preferred).
