For Health & Biosciences Operations, the Global Supply Business Integration Leader (BIT) assigned to each BU serves as the primary point of contact for all operations-related topics. This role can be based out of our offices in Dange Saint Romain, France; Leiden, Netherlands OR Madison, WI in a hybrid capacity.

Where You'll Make a Difference

Global Supply Business Integration Leader is accountable for bridging business and operations through:

  • Supervisory Board Role: Acting as a strategic advisor, guiding and aligning operations with the Business Unit and related functions.

  • Strategic Alignment: Driving collaboration on long-term capacity planning, manufacturing and technology development, asset and technology investments, footprint optimization, new product pipeline, and continuous improvements in cost, capacity, and quality.

  • Risk Management Leadership: Leading risk management within the stage gate process (Commercialization and Change Management), ensuring compliance, representing supply/operations in reviews, and communicating BU capital needs while leveraging across units.

  • Business Goal Delivery: Aligning and prioritizing support for new product launches, cost optimization, supply reliability, inventory and quality improvements; leveraging existing assets; executing continuous improvement initiatives; and strengthening production robustness.

  • Cross-Functional Communication: Translating BU vision and priorities to supply teams and conveying supply perspectives back to the BU.

  • Customer Engagement: Directly interacting with key customers when appropriate.

  • Portfolio Development: Partnering with product management to sponsor new product and improvement projects, rationalize portfolios, enable cost, capacity, and quality gains, manage complexity, and explore solutions including contract manufacturing and global/regional production strategies.

  • Program Implementation: Ensuring early supply involvement in programs, actively sponsoring key initiatives, and forming ad hoc teams to resolve production and supply challenges.

  • Capability Building: Enhancing operational and functional capabilities through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and coaching.

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • BSc in Life Sciences or Engineering; MBA or equivalent business experience preferred.

  • Strong understanding of Health & Biosciences products, technologies, processes, and operations.

  • Minimum 10 years in industrial process engineering/manufacturing, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven ability to build effective networks and influence across functions and geographies.

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
