The Role

The Resource Management Team, part of the Operations - People Team, focuses on aligning the right talent with our clients' needs. We allocate resources by leveraging key data points, including employee skillsets and experience, project demand and scope, utilization, capacity, and other relevant factors.

AArete is seeking a Resource Management Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining data integrity, leading data-driven initiatives, and serving as a key point of contact for planning and fulfilling staffing needs.

Work You'll Do

  • Partner with the Resource Management team and AArete leadership to forecast project demand and assign the appropriate staff (resources) to upcoming needs, applying strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Assign resources confidently and strategically by matching skillsets to project requirements while advocating for staff, balancing business priorities, and clearly communicating the rationale behind decisions
  • Collaborate with global staffing teams to optimize global resource utilization and streamline staffing processes
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for staffing asks and questions, effectively triaging requests, escalating when appropriate, and ensuring timely action with professionalism, discretion, and excellent interpersonal communication
  • Maintain and enhance accurate staffing data within NetSuite, including reporting, utilization tracking, employee capabilities/preferences, and data integrity to support automation and informed decision-making
  • Leverage data to produce reports, enhance necessary data, and support operational efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to enhance staffing processes, tools, and reporting for continuous improvement; support and project manage a variety of staffing initiatives, owning tasks, providing recommendations, and driving follow-through to improve business operations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance staffing processes, tools, and reporting
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to overall team success and continuous improvement
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in Resource Management, Recruiting, Recruiting Agency, Human Resources, or professional services environment
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Experience advocating for recommendations and clearly communicating the rationale behind decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Tools (e.g. Excel, Forms, Power Automate)
  • Comfortable analyzing data and presenting insights in a clear, actionable manner
  • Applicants must be based in Chicago, IL, and flexible to work from our Chicago office 2 days per week as a hybrid model
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience within a consulting firm or in technical or agency recruiting roles
  • Experience with NetSuite Staffing & Project Management tools; otherwise, a strong appetite to learn and ability to share examples of working with comparable tools or processes (HRIS, project staffing management tools, resource planning systems, etc.)

The estimated base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000. In addition to this base salary, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. This range is a part of a competitive, total compensation package together with our majority employer-paid benefits and incentive pay for eligible roles. Please note that this range is a guideline and individual total compensation may vary due to numerous factors including but not limited to experience level, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
