Make your mark for patients

We are looking for a Head of Learning US who is strategic, innovative, and collaborative to join us in our Human Resources team, based in our UCB office in Atlanta, GA.

About the role

As Head of Learning US, you will provide strategic leadership for UCB's learning organization, driving an AI-augmented, capability-driven learning ecosystem. As a strategic leader you will transform learning into a business growth engine, combining innovation, commercial acumen, and customer-centricity.

You'll translate global learning strategy into US-specific initiatives, accelerating time-to-performance and delivering measurable business impact through innovation, governance, and capability building.

Who you'll work with

You'll be part of the Patient Evidence and Impact Learning Leadership Team, working in strong partnership with the US Leadership Team and cross functional US and global stakeholder groups. You'll orchestrate internal and external resources, ensuring customer-facing roles have access to high-quality learning partnerships and support.

What you'll do

  • Elevate UCB's commercial presence by designing and executing a customer-centric learning strategy that strengthens sales capabilities and deepens engagement with healthcare professionals.
  • Shape and execute US learning strategy aligned with global objectives and commercial priorities.
  • Lead the development of a comprehensive commercial learning strategy, integrating sales training, customer engagement, and market insights to drive competitive advantage.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing US learning team
  • Oversee learning governance and budget management
  • Establish metrics and report on learning program effectiveness

Interested? For this role we're looking for the following

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's or higher preferred
  • 10+ years in Learning/Talent Development, 5+ years in senior leadership & 5+ years sales experience, ideally in pharma.
  • Proven experience in enterprise learning strategy and AI integration
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder engagement at executive level
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills

Preferred requirements

  • Experience in sales training or sales management desired

This positions reasonably anticipated base salary range is $236,800 to $310,800 per year. The actual salary offered will take into account internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
