Job Description:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Uses CAD/CAM software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SigmaNEST, or equivalent) to generate accurate part profiles, nests, and bend programs from engineering drawings and 3D models. Verifies machine setup parameters and tool paths to ensure programs run safely, accurately, and efficiently. Collaborates with engineering and production teams to resolve programming or design issues. Supports operators with program setup, job sequencing, and troubleshooting questions. Reads and interprets blueprints and fabrication drawings to create part geometry and ensure dimensional accuracy. Maintains and organizes digital file structures for nesting, part, and job programs. Continuously reviews and updates existing programs to reduce cycle times, improve material yield, and enhance part quality. Assists in standardizing programming processes and documentation for repeatability and efficiency. Supports the quality system and continuous improvement programs through accurate programming, revision control, and adherence to established procedures. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Ensure CNC programs are optimized for maximum productivity and material utilization. Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to support manufacturing goals. Uphold quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
