Inventory/Materials Assistant/Forklift Operator Swedesboro, NJ 1st Shift Job Summary The Inventory/Materials Assistant and Forklift Operator is responsible for managing inventory records, verifying incoming materials, and ensuring accurate stock levels. This role includes compiling records related to quantity, cost, and type of materials, inspecting items for defects, and preparing reports to resolve discrepancies. The position also requires operating forklifts to move materials safely and efficiently. Job Responsibilities Compile and maintain records of material quantities, costs, and types received, stored, or issued. Requisition supplies as needed and verify incoming materials for accuracy. Inspect articles for defects and reject non-compliant items. Prepare inventory reports and investigate discrepancies in stock counts. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move and organize inventory. Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Job Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience operating forklifts. Steady work history with proven reliability. Experience with inventory management and material handling. Picking experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies. Physical ability to lift and move materials as required. Veterans preferred. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Work Experience 5+ years of forklift operation experience. 25-32566 $25.00 - $27.40 per hour #ZR
