Business Analyst - Payments & Card Services

We are seeking a Business Analyst - Payments & Card Services to provide analytical, operational, and strategic support across our Credit, Debit, and ATM business lines. This role is designed for a strong analyst who will develop into a subject matter expert (SME) in card issuing and payments over time, while immediately contributing data-driven insights to optimize debit and ATM programs.

The ideal candidate will partner closely with branches, management, operations, and external vendors to enhance performance, ensure compliance, and support business initiatives. This role supports the full lifecycle of Credit, Debit, and ATM programs through data analysis, performance reporting, and adherence to risk and operational standards. Acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders and vendors, the analyst will translate data into actionable insights that inform decision-making and advance strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Credit - Agent Issuer Support



  • Support agent issuer programs and high-value client segments, with the expectation of developing SME-level expertise over time.
  • Serve as a point of contact for branches, management, and vendors, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Assist with risk, compliance, and sales integrity initiatives.
  • Validate, track, and support approval of invoices; assist with budget and revenue tracking.
  • Produce and maintain business line performance reporting.
  • Support data requirements for BI reporting, direct mail suppression, client opt-out processes, and analytics.
  • Maintain SharePoint content and assist with GL/DDA reconciliations.
  • Partner with internal teams and vendors to support marketing and product initiatives.


Debit & ATM Analytics



  • Prepare monthly and quarterly dashboards and trend analyses.
  • Validate, track, and support approval of vendor invoices.
  • Collaborate with product and operations teams to identify opportunities to improve program performance and efficiency.


Additional Responsibilities



  • Identify opportunities to streamline operations and improve business processes through data and analysis.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on analytical findings.
  • Support ad hoc reporting, analysis, and project-based initiatives as needed.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in banking, payments, analytics, or a related financial services role preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and BI/reporting tools; experience working with data management systems.
  • Exposure to credit, debit, or ATM operations preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
