Description and Requirements

We're looking for an innovative and experienced Channel Marketing Manager to be responsible for managing our channel partner co-marketing plans from strategy to execution. As the Channel Marketing Manager, you will work with the NA Channel Business Leaders to understand the needs of our largest business partners. You will be responsible for collaborating with NA Marketing Segment managers and NA Channel Sales to developing thoughtful co-marketing plans to engage our target audience through our strategic partners with a consistent message and strategy. This position supports a fast-paced and dynamic part of our business, and will require an individual who is resourceful, self-motivated, and willing to adapt to changing requirements when needed.


What You'll Do:

  • Work with strategic partners to plan, create and execute marketing strategies that provide meaningful return on investment, including setting targeted marketing KPI performance goals
  • Drive an integrated marketing plan through our partners and amplify Lenovo's message and strategy in alignment with our go-to-market objectives
  • Align with strategic Alliance partners on joint Market Development Funds (MDF) investments and strategies that maximize the impact of our co-marketing partnership agreements.
  • Collaborate with sales segment leaders to understand and support the business priorities and goals.
  • Partner with the NA marketing and WW Channel marketing team to understand and support the marketing priorities and goals.
  • Educate sales and channel partners about marketing opportunities, best practices, and techniques.
  • Help to build the annual marketing budget and manage the quarterly marketing budget and associated operational activities.
  • Maintain the process infrastructure to efficiently support our channel co-marketing activities.
  • Ensure availability of content across multiple communication channels.
  • Ensure quality, timeliness, and brand compliance of co-marketing deliverables.
  • Track and report co-marketing success metrics and assess the impact of our joint-marketing campaigns.
  • Act as a liaison between marketing and the channel business, cultivating, distilling, and sharing insights as appropriate between both teams.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing; MBA is a plus
  • 8+ years of channel marketing experience with either a vendor, reseller, or distributor in the IT sector
  • Knowledge of alliance MDF process
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong and versatile writing skills demonstrated through a broad portfolio of samples
  • Advanced proficiency in MSFT Office required
  • Experience working across various communications media
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Self-driven, demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal direction, as well as the presence and poise to represent the marketing function directly to senior management
  • Comfortable in fluid, rapidly changing business environments with high degree of ambiguity
  • Collaborative, with the ability to work across complex, global organizations
