The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) invites applications for a Reporting and Analytics Analyst 3 position (Senior Researcher). The GRC engages in applied health services and population health research in a project-based team setting. This position functions as a member of Instrumental Data, a division of GRCs research section that specializes in health quality measure design and production, health-related administrative data analytics, and linkage methodology. This role requires a balance of advanced technical execution and project leadership. The Senior Researcher typically manages significant responsibilities across 3-5 concurrent projects, working independently on tasks of moderate to high complexity. Beyond technical work, the Senior Researcher is expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills to facilitate consensus building, serve as a technical mentor for less experienced colleagues, and effectively translate complex technical information for non-technical project sponsors. Minimum Education Required: Bachelors degree or equivalent. Required Qualifications: A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree. Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen. Additional Desired Qualifications: An advanced degree in a relevant field of study. Demonstrable experience with SQL, SAS, or R for data preparation and analysis. Experience working in relational databases (e.g., SQL Server). Experience with SQL Server Management Studio and version control software such as GIT. Experience in applied health services or population health research. Proven ability to develop visualizations in Tableau or RShiny.
