The BIO5 Institute at the University of Arizona is seeking program resident assistants (KEYS RAs) for the KEYS 2026 Internship Program. The KEYS Program is a 7-week research internship for Arizona high school students, ages 16-18 years old, from June 1, 2026-July 17, 2026. We are looking for multiple summer full-time positions, working as resident assistants to provide supervision and support of KEYS interns who will be living in campus housing dormitories during internship dates. Availability: Part-time availability from March 30, 2026-May 29, 2026, for program training and certifications. Full Time availability (40 hours a week) including weekend availability from May 30, 2026-July 20, 2026.

| Duties & Responsibilities |
- Supervise program participants in the dormitories and during social outings.
- Conduct rounds throughout the dorm to ensure program participants are safe.
- Create a nightly duty log to let other RAs and KEYS staff know what happened during rounds.
- Maintain continual awareness of resident concerns through regular student contact in the residential areas.
- Engage, and support KEYS Internship participants.
- Provide near-peer mentorship to program participants.
- Provide assistance with participant homework assignments.
- Create and lead dorm activities with KEYS Internship participants living in campus housing dormitories during program dates.
- Drive KEYS Internship participants living in campus dorm housing to and from social outings and weekly grocery shopping trips in University of Arizona vehicles.
- Meeting with KEYS housing staff and KEYS program staff weekly.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively with participants, faculty, and staff.
- Ability to be reliable and punctual.
- Strong organizational skills.

| Minimum Qualifications |
- High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
- Valid AZ Driver's license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
- Schedule Requirements: Part-time availability from March 30, 2026-May 29, 2026, for program training and certifications. Full Time availability (40 hours a week) including weekend availability from May 30, 2026-July 20, 2026.
- Live in campus dorm housing from May 30-July 17, 2026.
- Minimum age-18 years old by date of hire (March 30, 2026).
