Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in a cutting-edge rail environment. You'll report to the Vehicle Lead Engineer in Atlanta and work alongside a collaborative, safety-focused, and innovative team. You'll play a key role in testing and troubleshooting trains to ensure they meet customer acceptance criteria and delivery schedules. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with engineering, quality, and industrial teams, implement design modifications, and manage corrective maintenance during the warranty period. You'll specifically take care of rigorous testing procedures and accurate failure tracing, but also propose process improvements and ensure compliance with EHS standards.

We'll look to you for:

  • Execute and respect all serial test procedures with precision
  • Complete test reports and ensure coverage of all required tests
  • Troubleshoot and repair failures during testing and revenue service
  • Implement design modifications as per field instructions
  • Escalate unresolved deviations and maintain accurate defect records in GSI
  • Apply strict EHS rules and report deviations, near-misses, and accidents

All about you

  • Degree or license in engineering or equivalent
  • 1-2 years' experience in electrical, control, onboard communications, or network systems within railways, process industry, or factory automation
  • Good level of English
  • Knowledge of IT tools and smart devices
  • Familiarity with electrical safety and EHS requirements
  • Ability to troubleshoot to component level and work with high voltages (750V DC or 11KV AC)
  • Comfortable working at heights (up to 90 feet) and night shifts (60% of time in 2026)
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

Things you'll enjoy

  • Enjoy stability and a long-term career free from boring routines
  • Work with advanced testing tools and innovative rail technologies
  • Collaborate with helpful colleagues across functions and sites
  • Contribute to greener, smarter mobility projects
  • Benefit from award-winning learning and career progression opportunities
  • Receive a fair and dynamic reward package, plus comprehensive social coverage (life, medical, pension)

You don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you'll be proud. If you're up for the challenge, we'd love to hear from you!
