Above all, you are excited by the opportunity to train the next generation of military space operators and guardians, leveraging cutting-edge software to make a lasting impact in national defense and beyond.What You'll Be Doing:Contributing to project-level planning, architecture, and software development for mission-critical simulation solutions.Coordinating design and development activities, including user experience, software design, solution deployment, and integration.Serving as a technical reference within your project team, providing guidance and mentoring to peers.Employing and upholding best practices through technical reviews and code mentoring.Performing complex bug verification, release testing, and providing beta support across multiple projects.Engaging with customers and partners to assess needs and develop innovative, practical solutions for Model-Based Systems Engineering and SysML requirements.Working with Dassault Systemes Cameo to read, understand, and modify SysML v1.7 system models, focusing on state machines and system behaviors.Iterating with stakeholders to ensure system models are reusable and deployable in live, collaborative operational training environments.Writing code to connect SysML behaviors to analysis and simulation tools for advanced space-domain training.Collaborating with other developers to validate, test, and deploy reusable SysML behavior modules into a larger software architecture.The Impact You Will Have:Enabling next-generation space operators and guardians to train with advanced, realistic simulation tools.Driving innovation in Model-Based Systems Engineering by integrating SysML models with physics-based analysis and simulation platforms.Elevating the quality and scalability of Synopsys' solutions for the aerospace and defense sector.Enhancing automation and interoperability across simulation tools, reducing manual effort and increasing reliability.Improving collaborative workflows for geographically distributed teams and stakeholders.Ensuring security and compliance in software solutions for sensitive government and defense applications.Helping deliver high-quality, reusable software modules that accelerate project delivery and customer success.What You'll Need:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Proficiency with Java, C#, Python, Node.js, and TypeScript.Experience developing software integrations with mission engineering tools (such as Ansys STK, AFSIM) or Ansys software tools.Proven ability to write robust, efficient, and maintainable code.Experience with version control systems and Agile development methodologies.Hands-on experience with Ansys STK Behavior Execution Engine and Cameo SysML state machines.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across distributed teams.Eligibility to obtain and maintain a US DoD TS/SCI or SAP security clearance.Who You Are:Collaborative and team-oriented, thriving in cross-functional environments.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies.Excellent communicator, able to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.Self-driven and proactive, taking initiative to solve challenges and improve processes.Committed to delivering high-quality, secure, and reliable software solutions.The Team You'll Be A Part Of:You'll join a dynamic, mission-driven Professional Services and Solutions team focused on integrating and automating simulation software for the aerospace and defense markets.
