We're currently looking for: Responsible for the design, development, and optimization of advanced machine learning models, statistical methodologies, and data analyses to support customer retention, acquisition, and expansion initiatives. To succeed in this role you must meet the following requirements:
- Apply advanced techniques in machine learning, econometrics, and statistical frameworks to address complex business problems and generate measurable outcomes
- Collaborate with business teams to translate business requirements into model design and development
- Design, develop, and implement predictive machine learning models by applying Python programming and advanced statistical techniques to meet key business requirements in customer retention, acquisition, and expansion
- Extract and analyze data, provide insights and conduct statistical analysis
- Optimize existing machine learning and statistical models by performing model tuning, feature analysis, and algorithm selection to enhance efficiency, robustness, and predictive performance across diverse customer segments
- Conduct model validation and monitoring by developing evaluation processes and implementing performance metrics to ensure the accuracy, stability, and interpretability of predictive models in production environments
- Document key model insights and findings by preparing formal model development documentation
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, business stakeholders, and analysts by participating in cross-functional discussions, translating business objectives into model requirements, and integrating modeling solutions with data platforms and production systems
- Partner with Business, Product, and Engineering teams to analyze complex datasets and provide data-driven insights and recommendations that support strategies in risk analytics, business growth, and customer segmentation
Desired Qualifications:
- U.S. Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, or foreign equivalent, plus two (2) years of related experience, or U.S. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Data Science, Computer Engineering or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience, is required. Within the foregoing parameters, any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable
- Experience with Python, model building, model validation, data analysis, statistical analysis, development of machine learning models, gradient boosting models, building predictive models using customer data, business forecasting, risk analysis, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Spark, and translating business requirements into predictive model design and development is required.
