The Opportunity:

UCF Online seeks applications for a Director, Online Services. The Director, Online Services plays a critical role in driving the operational success and strategic growth of UCF's online education programs. This position requires a highly organized, results-oriented leader with expertise in budgeting, project management, CRM strategies, compliance, and collaborative support with marketing and other essential functions. The Director will oversee day-to-day operations, manage resources, and ensure alignment with UCF's strategic goals.

We are seeking a proactive, solutions-oriented leader who is passionate about enhancing the quality of online education and driving the operational success of UCF Online.

Responsibilities:


  • Budgeting & Financial Oversight: Develop and manage budgets, track expenditures, forecast financial needs, and provide financial analysis to leadership.

  • Strategic Forecasting & Planning: Use data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities, predict trends, and support long-term resource allocation and market positioning.

  • Project & Program Management: Lead multiple projects and programs, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget, while improving operational efficiency and student experience.

  • Academic Coordination: Collaborate with academic departments on online program development, onboarding procedures, and curricular decisions for online delivery.

  • Marketing & Communications Support: Partner with marketing teams to align recruitment campaigns with enrollment goals and analyze outreach effectiveness.

  • Reporting & Analytics: Create and manage reports on KPIs, enrollment, and financial metrics; provide actionable insights to leadership.

  • CRM Strategy Oversight: Direct CRM system development and optimization for student recruitment, engagement, and retention; analyze data for improved outcomes.

  • Regulatory Compliance & Operational Leadership: Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, manage audits, and implement best practices to enhance program quality and student experience.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications:


  • 6+ years of experience in higher education administration, online program management, or operations management.

  • Demonstrated experience in project and program management, with experience leading cross-functional teams.

  • Expertise in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, including data analysis and strategy development.

  • Knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements relevant to online higher education.

  • Experience in higher education marketing or student recruitment.

  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Strong understanding of student lifecycle management and online education trends.

  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Special Instructions to the Applicants:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $120,000-$150,000. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.

This is an Auxiliary (AUX) funded position. Employment is subject to availability of funding and may cease at the time funding for this employment is depleted.
