Summary: Performs both administrative and clinical functions to support smooth and efficient care of patients in the Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Performs a variety of tasks supporting the scheduling of new patients. May assist with general administrative practice support, as needed.
Primary duties will include: - Answering the main phone line, assisting callers with routine questions and routing other calls accordingly. - Reviewing new patient requests and scheduling with the appropriate provider. - Assisting with records collection and preparation prior to new patient consults. - Processing patient billing forms and scanning documents to patient medical record - May perform more complex or specialized functions (i.e. surgical scheduling, schedule changes/blocking) at more advanced competency level.
