Magnolia Trace is currently seeking an experienced Culinary Director to lead dining operations within our vibrant senior living community in Huntsville, AL. This leadership role centers on delivering exceptional front-of-house hospitality, strengthening resident engagement, and ensuring every dining experience is memorable, meaningful, and consistently outstanding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all culinary & service operations, including menu planning and food quality
  • Experience in developing and training front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional hospitality
  • Create engaging dining programs that foster community and resident satisfaction
  • Manage budgets, compliance, and resident relationships
  • Lead the development of an Executive Chef, Restaurant Manager, and Nutrition Services Manager
  • Drive recruitment and retention within the department



Requirements

Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in culinary arts, hospitality, business, or a related field

  • Industry Experience: Minimum of five years' leadership experience in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment

  • Leadership Strength: Demonstrated success leading front-of-house hospitality teams or dining services within a senior living or high-service environment

  • Hospitality-Driven Mindset: Exceptional customer service skills with a strong commitment to elevating guest experiences and developing engaged, high-performing teams

  • Creative Vision: Ability to design and implement innovative dining experiences, special events, and programs that enhance community life and resident satisfaction

$83,430.00 - $101,719.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
