Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required

Highlights

  • Working with complex patient and their families, providing resources as well as billable psycho-therapeutic support
  • Working in coordination with care team to help patients and families continue coordination of care
  • Flexible work schedule, able to work 8-16 hours a week M-F. Must be available to offer PTO coverage/pick up available shifts any day of the week
  • Experience with Geriatric population preferred.

Summary

The Social Worker II role is responsible for the evaluation of psychosocial needs of patients/clients and their families and provision of diagnostic/preventive and treatment services including individual, family, and group therapy.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Master's Degree in Social Work/Clinical Counseling from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work/Counselor Education required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) is required.
  3. Experience: Two years of relevant experience in a health or mental health setting preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Social Worker I role.
